Newsletter 2: Leading the Change Towards Person-Centered Care

Dear Compass Community,

Welcome to the second issue of our Compass newsletter! We’re excited to share updates and insights from our project, which is aimed at empowering care managers across Europe to lead thechange towards Person-Centered Care (PCC) approaches.

PROJECT PROGRESS

Since our last newsletter, the Compass team has been hard at work developing innovative educational resources and methodologies. We’re committed to filling the gaps in current training offers by providing practical tools and guidance for care managers. Our focus remains on equipping them with the skills necessary to respond effectively to the evolving needs of the labor market, particularly in promoting PCC approaches within their respective working contexts.

Supporting reflexivity of care managers

Status: in progress

The partners are currently in the process of implementing the Compass WDG sessions with caremanagers and professionals. The focus of this result is to provide care managers a methodology to support reflection, reflexivity and learning from work-based experience while also building a network of professionals exercising this job at national level and willing to share a professional development process. Currently, the sessions taking place in partners’ countries are gathering between 8 and 20 professionals.
